《乩身》改編自台灣鬼才作家星子同名暢銷小說，結合台式傳統信仰與現代奇幻的敘事。並使用華語影集鮮見的大量後期特效鏡頭，打造出神魔人鬼栩如生的「東方四界」宇宙，堪比為華語版《康斯坦汀:驅魔神探》。此劇由榮金馬最佳新演員獎、台北影節男主角的柯震東飾演乱身韓杰，王柏傑詮釋的頂頭上司「三太子」代理人，一起穿越陰間處理各種因為年輕而犯下的錯贖罪。

 

Other than some tattoos, Master Jay has scars that look like he was mauled by monsters. Jay is not a medium for hire, nor can he profit from any jobs. For many years, he only works by the wills drawn from a lottery box picked by a bird WEN. Those wills are instructions from the child deity THE THIRD PRINCE (SANTAIZE)

Jay never makes money for these hard missions. Instead, it was to atone for his sins. Jay was a drug addict when he was young.To clear his debt, he stole the deed of his ancestral home to pay his gangster friend. In the end, the gangster burned down the house killing his parents and his sister.

 

 

The Third Prince took Jay' s soul to the underworld to witness the hellish tortures his family was suffering on his account. Then The Third Prince offered Jay a deal, if Jay agrees to be his medium, this will atone for his sins, and Jay' s family can earn reincarnation.
